写真は、2020年5月のワイキキ。緊急事態宣言が出ている時のもの。人も車もゼロ。珍しい光景である。その後、コロナ、円安ハワイは凄いことになっているが、普通に歩けるし、マスクもいらないし、ご飯も食べることが出来る。写真の時よりはるかに幸せである。
The photo was taken in Waikiki in May 2020, during the state of emergency. There were no people or cars. It was a rare sight. Since then, despite the coronavirus and the weak yen, Hawaii has been amazing. You can walk around normally, you don’t need a mask, and you can eat out. It’s much happier than when the photo was taken.
