今日日本は、終戦記念日である。昨日久しぶりにパールハーバーに行き、初めて戦艦ミズーリに乗った。日本語ガイドさんの案内は、ほとんど自分の知らないものであった。昔歌にあったが、「戦争を知らない子どもたち」そのままである。深く反省した。写真は、日本の降伏文書調印式のもの。これは東京湾でおこなわれた。この頃の政治家は、崇高な雰囲気。もう一度歴史を、勉強しなければならない。
