早くも2014年モデルマッキントッシュ来月登場

先週来年度のモデルが港に着いた。そして今日、縫製工場に入った。詳細はまた後日。３年続けて「ランドオブアロハ」の、王道シリーズを出した。来年も超王道の「マッキントッシュ」が、７月後半にハワイで発売する。そして店を開ける時から今日までのストアの方向を文章にしてみた。「僕はこの店をオープンした理由はいくつかありました。大局的な物言いをすると、 ハワイに来た人たちを、お洒落にしたい。粋に着てもらいたい。これが常に頭にあった。 最近では洋服の専門家などが、アロハシャツが１番元気の出る洋服と云っています。 僕も作る側からも着る側からもそう思います。色が良い、軽い、風を着るにはこんなに良い服は他にない。 こちらで挙式が増えています。ワイキキを歩いていますと、本当に可哀想になるくらい、質の悪いアロハシャツで参列する関係者を見ます。僕はそれを見て悲しくなります。その人達に何とかお店を知ってもらいたいと思っています。 最後に僕の思いは、アロハシャツを売る、買うだけでこの店をオープンしたのではありません。アロハシャツという伝統的な文化を広め、それを着てハワイの自然を感じ、ハワイの風を感じ、人の温かさを感じ、良い気分になって欲しい。 そしてまた必ずそのシャツを着て、ハワイに戻って来て欲しい。それを願っているのです。アロハシャツをその人が着ることで、気分が良くなり恋人や妻、家族や友人や知り合いまで、優しい気持ちになると僕は信じています。 隠れ家的な名店で、ラッキーな人にはコーヒーが出るかもしれません（笑）。ハワイで１番のサーヴィスを目指してやっています。そして小さな子どもから老若男女まで愛される店にしたい。そして国籍を問わずわたしは出来るかぎり姿が見えなくなるまでお見送りしています。そっと「お元気で」と呟きます」 I always want to make people come to Hawaii very fashionable and snazzy – that’s one of the reason why I opened this store. As a creator and a user, I think good quality, good colored and light weight Aloha Shirt is the best thing you can possibly put on to feel – or I’d say “Wear” the breeze. Even some Fashion scene mogul says that he wears Aloha Shirt when he needs a lift. A lot of people have weddings in Hawaii now a days. Unfortunately, I sometimes witness some guests of the wedding ceremony wearing painfully bad quality Aloha Shirts walking down the street of Waikiki. That just simply make me sad and wish that they’d find out about my store! Another reason why I opened this store is – definitely NOT just buy and sell the Aloha Shirts – that I want to spread the traditional culture of wearing Aloha Shirts. So that the people would feel the nature of Hawaii, the breeze of the island, love or I should say “ALOHA” from people in Hawaii, and most importantly, I want them to come back to Hawaii wearing the Aloha Shirt and feel good! I believe when you wear Aloha Shirt, you’d be so happy and make you want to be nice to everyone around you – your lover, your wife, your family, your friends or even just somebody you’ve met once! If you are lucky, I will make you nice cup of Kona Coffee when you visit my hidden store. I take a pride and confidence that I give the best service to anybody regardless young or old, women or men. You may not know this but I always say this to you when you leave my store, “Take care and Aloha” until you turn the corner.
